Hours of Operation
Please note the hours of operation for this VEC location: VEC staff members are on site at the Franklin Center Tuesdays only from 9:00am until 4:00pm. The Franklin Center (540) 483-0179 will also take messages for VEC and route them to Roanoke.
If you are filing a claim for Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits in Virginia it is recommended that you use our online services as a first option since you will be able to reach the VEC quicker online than by telephone. Internet claim filing can be accessed from our Unemployment Insurance Web Site.
