The Green Technology Group, LLC (TGTG) is seeking a skilled program analyst with a strong background in strategic communications to support our Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) customer. The candidate must be a self-starter who can quickly understand new assignments, conduct research, provide relevant content, offer solutions, and is adaptable. A baseline understanding of IT and experience with Organizational Change Management would be preferred. The environment is dynamic, and the client needs are often evolving. Flexibility and forward-thinking views are important for success.

 

                                                           Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  •  Conducting research, analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports.
  • Determining program requirements and making recommendations.
  • Analyzing programs, policies, procedures, and systems and making recommendations to optimize these.
  • Drafting new or revised policies and procedures.
  • Assisting program managers with the development of budgets and schedules as well as tracking metrics.
  • Identifying and resolving issues and problems.
  • Planning, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of operations and programs.

Preparing and presenting reports and recommendations.


Required Skills & Experience 

  • Must have knowledge in how to plan, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operating programs.
  • Must be able to use source data to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and business processes.
  • Must be able to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of the operations.
  • Must be able to effectively manipulate data to present program status and make recommendations on improving business processes.
  • Experience in creating new methods of gathering and analyzing source data to evaluate program effectiveness and analyze business processes.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier II Moderate Risk Background Investigation.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Years of Professional Experience: 

  • Bachelor's Degree (5 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education).
  • 5 years related experience required
