The Virginia Employment Commission (VEC) Portsmouth Center at 4824 George Washington Highway, Portsmouth, Virginia, is closing on Monday, June 5th. A new location will open at Victory Crossing 4010-C Victory Boulevard, Portsmouth, Virginia, after July 10th.

In-person walk in services will be available at Portsmouth@Works, Located at 200 High Street, Suite 201,Portsmouth, Virginia  23704 on the following dates:

• Tuesday June 13, and Thursday June 15 (8:30 am – 4:30 pm, closed for lunch 12:00 – 1:00 pm)
• Tuesday June  20, and Thursday June 22 (8:30 am – 4:30 pm, closed for lunch 12:00 – 1:00 pm)
• Tuesday June 27, and Thursday June 29 (Only if needed because we have not yet relocated)
